The work of a teacher is to connect with and motivate students to grow their skills and habits, and to inspire them toward personal fulfillment.  Sean knows that teachers do this work every day and is honored to be their representative.  Since being selected as 2014 National Teacher of the Year, Sean's story of overcoming challenges and empowering students to do the same has taken him across the country.  Below are a media highlights of Sean's work.

University of Pittsburgh's Pitt Magazine communicates the accomplishments of the Universities people and programs. I was honored to be profiled and featured in their Summer 2014 issue.

 


Parade Magazine

Parade's 2014 Back to School issue featured Sean on it's cover and an interview focused on Sean's back to school advice to parents.  Much of the fun was involving some students in the photo shoot process!  You can check out the behind the scenes video and read the article.
